Divine Kelly

Here is a rare insight into a little pocket of my own home. During lockdowns, our formal living room at home became “my room” . A device-free and TV- free zone where I could retreat for my Zoom yoga classes (away from our busy house of 4 young children) or sit for a moment of quiet, to contemplate a lighting project.

I wanted this room to become an uplifting space which would inspire creativity. I fell in love with this painting by Mary Jane Ansell in the Fairfax Gallery in Tunbridge Wells and once “ Liberty Sleeping” was hung in her new home above our black gloss Kesterport sideboard, the theme grew from there. I ordered a sample of this blue and white Divine Savages wallpaper the very first time I saw it on the Divine Savages insta feed, ages ago. As a huge lover of wild animals, I could not get enough of the fabulously dressed people with animal heads partying in the streets of London. I love the contrast of the whimsical blue wallpaper and the bright red paint.

Kelly Wearstler is one of my favourite designers and since I already had the Precision floor lamp in this room, it made sense to continue the theme with matching sconces. Their bronze perforated grill faces hint to the military theme of the painting and the alabaster table lamp and petrified wood side table add a softness, gently drawing the whole scheme together.

The large Kelly Wearstler Melange table lamp in bronze and alabaster is also available in a smaller size as well as a brass finish.

The Precision range covers a large selection of lighting pieces in various finishes.
