Customer Project 25

Customer Project 25

Phase 1 of our country house project.

These lovely clients got In touch asking me to help them update some of their lighting. This is what we did in the lobby of their home.  The before photos they sent me before my home visit, show there were originally two chandeliers in that space.

One of the chandeliers hung quite close to the front door and I suggested we centralise the lighting focus with just one main light in the middle to draw the eye into the house from the entrance and also gain a sense of the generous space as you walk in. I felt the second chandelier restricted the flow.

The property is set on a beautiful plot abundant in fruit trees and flowers so I wanted to choose lights which were reminiscent of their surroundings. Especially as the central light can be seen from the fields around the property through all the gorgeous windows framing this part of the home.

The new light pendant in the entrance is made of glass flowers, pearls and crystals and the hand rubbed brass finish warms the space by highlighting the wood.

Doesn’t the Syrian rainbow light on the sideboard make the painting pop too?

The clients said they were over the moon with their new light babies

I was tasked with updating the lighting in other parts of the house and I cannot wait to show you what we did there.

The chandelier is part of the Kate Spade Dickinson range. It is available in different sizes and has other matching items such as table lamps and floor lamps in the same range.

Please visit our consultations page to see how we can help you find your forever lights.
