Customer Project 44

Raw Romance.

When I heard the brief for this project from Angie of Atelier Design Consultants, I felt my heart swell and a strong pull to be involved.

The main house on this estate is a gorgeous Manor House and this outbuilding overlooks a riding arena.

Mr plans to work from here on occasion so he can watch Mrs during her horse riding lessons.

A passion project like this is an invigorating tonic for the mind and soul.

We chose the Strada flush mount in gild to compliment the warm Hermès inspired orange tone. I wanted the light to shine like a beacon from the arena so Mrs would know Mr was with her during her classes.

The Ralph Lauren Rivington shield sconces swivel thus making them the perfect accessory for transforming the mood and use of a room
Instantly by either positioning the lightbulb to face the room or the wall.

When architectural designer Angie asked about the cloakroom lighting in this outbuilding, I suggested we commission an LED neon sign with wording or an expression which meant something special to the family. This adds a personal touch to an otherwise unfamiliar and very new addition to the home. Angie’s clients chose an expression in their native Russian language.

It has been exciting visiting this project at different stages and I am thrilled to be part of this two year project. I really love how varied my work is.
