Customer Project 9

A London based interior designer @claretophaminteriors got in touch after reading a lovely post about me on the @decorcafenet feed.

Clare had been through a lengthy process of choosing lights with her client pre-lockdown and then the lighting supplier for the dining space went awol.

(before)

As travel was still a bit restricted, I offered the client a telephone consultation so I could work out what sort of vibe he wanted me to create. He sent me photos of the space as it developed and we brainstormed different options for this cool dining room space among the London rooftops of Chelsea.

We mocked up images of how the different light options could look in situ and we explored the pros and cons of each option before the customer finalised his decision.

The client had already installed pendants above the kitchen counter so the new addition needed to work with those, as well as the furniture and artwork he had chosen.

I love this slick design by Thomas O’Brien. The hand-rubbed antique brass picks out the black and golden geometric shapes in the artwork and furniture so perfectly.

Dimly lit on autumn nights for an intimate rooftop dinner...

The Quatro pendant light is also available in other finishes and a single pendant option.

Please visit our consultations page to see how we can help you find your forever lights.
