Customer Project 58

Very excited to see the lights slowly finding their home in our Tunbridge Wells village renovation project.

After my initial site visit, our clients requested I attend a follow up with the electricians to ensure the correct positioning of wires and plugs for the lighting we had recommended. One of the sweetest outcomes was this spot in the entrance hall lobby with a concealed plug socket for our New York public library lamp (as seen in the actual @nypl ).

During a consultation, our expertise and creativity means that we consider all the little details for you and suggest innovative ideas and solutions for even the trickiest of spaces. This ensures the lighting scheme is not only beautiful and original but functional for each customer too.

Our lighting styling fee is redeemable on any order placed with us which means it is basically a free service.

Years ago in Tunbridge Wells, one of the stunning Manor Houses near Thackerays restaurant had a pretty lamp in the lobby window with a gorgeous red pleated shade. I always admired that view while stuck in traffic outside on winter evenings. I would daydream about how magical and cosy it would feel arriving home and walking into that red glow. Ever since, I have had an obsession with how the lighting looks on approach to a property and wanting to create a feeling of being greeted with “a warm smile of light” on entering a home. I hope this lamp does just that for this special family - its brass body dancing with the red stained glass in the soft glow of the night….

We started our relationship with these wonderful clients while they were working on their coastal Devon property 18 months ago. I am looking forward to seeing that completed too!

Love and light
