A beautiful project with our striking Collier chandelier by our longstanding trade client Sophie and her dream team SGS Design.
I first fell for the Collier when I met her creator, lighting magician Sean Lavin at High Point Market design show in the States when she was unveiled. Sean talked to me at lengths about the design process and his 5 year long journey bringing her to life.
Originally made from hand cut crystal, the Collier now has a younger sister with an alabaster body. This wow factor light is made form interconnecting handmade beads with integrated LED modules and an external driver. this means she can be moulded onsite into a variety of shapes and configurations. From hanging light to chandelier and even wall lights. The Collier range adds dimension and WOW factor to any space big or small.
The Collier was brought to the UK a few years ago and immediately won the best light at the Design et Al awards n London which I was fortunate enough to be invited to.
