Sean Lavin

Sean is known for his sophisticated, modern design aesthetic combined with the most current LED technology. Sean’s Dessau light can be set to either 2700 kelvins or 3000 kelvins at installation for example. Sean favours clean lines, natural materials and a neutral colour palette that make a strong statement while also marrying with the surroundings. Sean appreciates that lighting is one of the most important elements that impacts every other design detail and sets the mood and emotion for the entirety of the space.

lumière founder Melissa had the pleasure of meeting Sean at High Point Trade show in the USA. Sean explained the design process behind his breathtaking Collier light, inspired by a woman’s necklace, which won the Design et al light award in 2022. The Collier has now been launched in the UK market and is available at lumière.
